General
All games will begin at 6:30 pm
The first 4 weeks of games of the season we will have that everyone bats with the game length of 3 innings,
The 5th week game length is 5 innings with 3 outs or 1 time through the batting order, which ever happens first, per team.

Coaches will be called 45 mins before game time for rain cancellations by the convener
Home team will set up the bases, visitor team puts them away and make sure the boxes are locked.
Pitching and Batting
Coaches will pitch to their own teams. If after the fifth pitch, a batter has not hit, a tee must be used for that at bat.
At the "discretion of the coaches."
If after the 6th week of play, a player can pitch to their own team, but only of the discretion of their "own" coach.
A ball that is hit in the infield territory, then bounce to foul territory is a foul ball. A ball that is hit into the outfield fair territory then bounces foul is a fair ball.
When a batter pops up to the catcher and the catcher catches it, the ball must go over the batter’s head to be an out. It does NOT have to be a certain height, just over the batter’s head.
If a batter steps on the home plate mat while swinging, they are automatically called out. The first time is a warning; the second time is an out.
No throwing bats. The first time is a warning; the second time is an out.
Base Running
No courtesy step or leaning off base, otherwise the runner is out.
If a pop fly is caught for an out, a runner may tag up and run to the next base.
If a runner comes into contact with the ball while advancing they are automatically called out.
There is to be no contact, tagging or sliding at home plate. For safety’s sake a line will be drawn from home plate to the backstop at a right angle to the third baseline. If the runner passes this line before the defensive player catches the ball he is safe at home. The runner may not touch home plate.
Fielding the Ball
A ball hit to the outfield can be thrown to any infielder that can then call "Time". All runners must stop running the bases when time is called. If a runner has reached the halfway point between bases he advances to the next base.
If a ball is thrown to first base and it is overthrown, and out of play, the runner may advance by only one more base. If the ball is thrown back into play towards another base, the runner may try to advance.
If a double play is turned for a third out, no runs will count on that play.
